Research

Design / Implementation
- Queried the transactional database; joined payments, rentals, films, categories, customers, and locations with SQL.
- Applied CTEs, subqueries, and window functions to rank markets, titles, and customers by revenue.
- Built Tableau visuals for genre revenue, top markets, and customer value tiers.
Testing / Results
- Genres: Sports and Sci-Fi generated the highest revenue; Animation, Drama, and Comedy followed.
- Markets: Revenue concentrated in a handful of high-value countries — ideal for phased rollout.
- Customers: High-value tiers rented more frequently and responded to targeted incentives.
